How would you live if you won the lottery?
For more than seven years Amanda & Rich
Ligato have been living the answer to that
question.
No, they did not win the lottery. Working in
corporate jobs they saved more than they spent
by asking one another a simple question, "Do we
need it, or do we want it?" Surprised to find how
little they actually needed they were able to stash
away just enough to buy themselves freedom.
First, they left behind all the comforts and security
of home to embarked on a three year overland
trip through Latin America and Africa in their
1970's VW Campervan.
The experience changed them forever. Next they
traveled by bicycle through Asia.
In a world where living a full life is often equated
with overindulgence, the Ligatos are on a journey
to live adventurously while remaining balanced.
And for the record, they never play the lottery.

To cap off a year of bicycling through Asia Rich sought to fulfill a lifelong dream by competing in the Singapore Ironman 70.3 on his touring bike...
