According to the guidebook the town of Teluk Intan has little
for the traveler to get excited about except, of course, the
leaning tower.
We, on the other hand, found a lot to love in this small
village. The market was chock full of tropical fruits and the
vendors were happy to give us the local price. There is an
exceptional bike shop with top quality mountain bike
equipment, a great surprise considering there is not even a
hint of a hill for a long way.
Not long after checking in to the towns only real hotel we
were peppered with offers for dinner and a friend chat from
the proprietor.
