Ride/Road -  It took some maneuvering through
Chumphon town to get us back on highway 4 going
west.  From the hotel we had to find the clock tower
and from there cross over the train tracks on a
secondary street that finally intersected with a major
road that headed west out of town.
Highway 4 west crosses the entire width of Thailand
and continues south hugging the border with Myanmar
(Burma).  The road is flat and sealed with a wide
shoulder. We found plenty of services such as gas
stations and food spaced out throughout the ride.

Highlights - We pedaled past the Isthmus, a thin body
of water that separates Thailand and Myanmar.  There
are view  points along the river with a clear look at
Burma (Myanmar).  We past a village that specializes
in making Chinese streamed buns.

Kraburi is a small town that does not see many tourist.
There is a market, shops and several restaurants and
food options.  Not much else in the town.

Slept - Pannika Resort.
Cost - 400 b  ($10.81)
Location - About 1 k south of Kraburi on east side.
Signed on left side of main highway 4.
Amenities - Nice bungalows.  Decorated with broken
tiles everywhere.  Floor, ceiling, walls.  Enssuite bath is
Thai style.  Squatter toilet with bucket flushing.  Large
built in tub full of water on one side of restroom.  Wasn't
sure what that was used for.  Shower is in the
bathroom area and is the was the standard hose with a
sprinkler head.  Communal fridge outside in work area.
Owner is very nice and speaks great English.  Also
provides meals.

Other accommodations in town - Just south of Pannika
Resort (Bungalows) is another set of bungalows.
