Road/Ride -  Highway 4 south and took a secondary
road toward Bang Ben Beach and Laem Son National
Park.
Highway 4 is sealed with a wide shoulder.  Flat ride
with no hills.  Traffic light. This ride has a few undulated
patches, but it's mostly flat.  Lush, tropical jungle
surroundings along the way.
The secondary road toward Bang Ben Beach and the
National Park is sealed, flat with no shoulder but has
very little traffic.

Bang Ben Beach is just outside Laem Son National
Park.  Turn right (west) off of highway 4 onto the sealed
secondary road for 10 kilometers until you reach Laem
Son National Park.  Internet and a few vendors are set
up on the side of the road as you get off the highway.
The internet is in a tourist office that offers home stay
opportunities in the area. Leam Son NP.
Bang Ben has a nice beach.  The Laem Son National
Park has waived the 200b entrance fee.  The park is
the process of completing stone paths throughout the
park.
Bang Ben Beach area was hit hard by the tsunami
2004 and the community is currently constructing a
new pier and sealing roads.  There are few food
options in the area, just a few vendors selling a very
limited selection of items.  A couple of families selling
fresh fruit and vegetables.
.

Son National Park and Bang Ben Beach.
Amenities - New bungalow complex around a lovely
tropical garden.  Bungalow has a deck with chairs,
table and hammock.  A/c, en suite bath with hot water.
Western toilet with bucket flushing.  Complimentary 3
in 1 coffee and a teakettle in room.
Great restaurant.
Location - Bungalows are on the left side of road just
before entering the Laem Son National Park.

Other accommodations at Bang Ben Beach - The
Peace Resort is on a dirt road past the National Park
entrance toward the right.  The resort is on the  beach
and the complex is newly constructed.  At the time we
visited the bungalow did not have a/c. The Resort does
have a nice restaurant with a view of the ocean.
