another possession in order to read about an
adventure that came about because we were
able to relinquish most of our possessions.
When Nation Geographic Adventure phoned
we had just two hundred copies of the first
edition remaining, we were setting out on our
new journey by bicycle and we were
searching for a way to be more consistent in
raising funds for our travels. After all, we live
from the proceeds of this book.
So we are now experimenting with a different
approach. Amazon.com has a new method
of payment that allows people to choose how
much they would like to pay for digital books.
You determine the price. The book is in
adobe acrobat (.pdf) form and is the exact
version from which the original book was
published.
Of course, you can still purchase a physical
book. You can even get one on eBay! We
strongly encourage you to loan it to friends
or donate it to your local library when you
